!  <<Re-posting from October 2, 2015>> - Windows 10:  FLI v2015 or newer, and BW v2011 or newer are each compatible with Windows 10.....HOWEVER:  Just because FLI and BW, or any other software, will function on a new operating system does not mean you're safe to upgrade.  Every time you perform an operating system upgrade there is a risk that your computer, your connected devices, and your software will not work properly afterwards.  Microsoft's claim is "if it runs on Windows 7 it will run on Windows 10".  That very well may be true, but know that your individual configuration might create a situation where you would disagree with Microsoft's assertion.  Before upgrading to Windows 10, we highly recommend you perform a Google search for "Upgrade to Windows 10", read the articles both pro and con (particularly with regards to the new "security" features embedded in Win10), and consult with your trusted technical professional.  These steps should allow you to make an informed decision that is best for your unique situation and risk factors.  Ultimately, the decision is yours, as is living with any unexpected consequences or new joys.  You should not let an offer of "free upgrade" be the sole factor in your decision.  ADDENDUM:  Microsoft's free upgrade  to Windows 10 expired on July 29, 2016.

!  December 31, 2012 - Attention: Fuel Tax Users - Online Filing - RE: Online Fuel Tax Reporting:  Almost all jurisdictions have electronic requirements for IFTA returns effective January 1, 2013, and none provide a method for electronic uploads of IFTA data from FLI.  To file your 4th quarter return you must complete your IFTA return in FLI and then use it to manually enter values into the state's online reporting page.  You must also secure an account and payment PIN from the state before you can electronically file your IFTA return. Since the electronic filing process and requirements are totally separate of FLI software we cannot assist you with their usage or address any issues they may cause.

!  December 31, 2012 - Windows 8 Compatibility: Neither FLI nor BW are certified compliant with Windows 8.  Preliminary testing indicates both software applications work effectively in Windows 8, but a few minor differences have been noticed, and neither functions consistently with touch screen navigation used in some Windows 8 installations.  We will continue to test Windows 8 and expect both FLI and BW to function properly on Windows 8  sometime in the future.  For now, we will NOT support FLI or BW on Windows 8.

!  December 31, 2012 - Tablet Compatibility: Neither FLI nor BW can be installed on tablet computers, such as iPads and Android tablets.  It is possible that both software titles will be able to be installed on Microsoft's Windows tablet devices with Intel chipsets.  For now, we will NOT support FLI or BW on any Apple device, or on any tablet computer.

!  December 31, 2012 - Attention Windows XP users: Microsoft has announce end of life support for Windows XP for April, 2014.  After this time Microsoft will no longer provide continued support or security updates for Windows XP.  Even though you may continue running Windows XP after April, 2014 we encourage you to plan and budget for upgrading to Windows 7 as soon as possible.  Our hardware recommendation includes:

- Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional Edition, 64-bit (Professional for network installs)

- A minimum of 4GB memory (RAM)....8GB is strongly recommended
